It is with great sadness that the family of Roy Albert Allenback announce his passing on Monday, February 6, 2006 at Mission Memorial Hospital, Mission, BC at the age of 85 years. Roy was predeceased by his parents John and Clara; brother Robert and sister Mary-Kathryn. He will be lovingly remembered by Jacqueline, his wife of 60 years; children Sarina (Harold), Robert (Lorraine), Penny (Iain), and April; grandchildren Carol (Moe), Steven, Kerri (Aaron), Krista, John (Alexandra), David (Jennifer), Jenna (Mark), Michael and great-grandson Alexander. Roy was a WWII veteran and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for 58 years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 12:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. #57, 32627 Logan Avenue, Mission, BC. In lieu of flowers donations in Roy's memory may be made to the B.C. Lung Association, Heart & Stroke Foundation or Royal Canadian Legion, Br. #57, Mission, BC.
